About this information

Editorial and source policy

Child Care Center Broker publishes educational guidance for business owners and acquisition buyers. Our articles distinguish reported observations, illustrative calculations, and questions requiring transaction-specific verification. A source link supports only what that source actually establishes; it does not certify an entire transaction.

Who publishes this site?

The site identifies Jason Taken, a business broker with HedgeStone Business Advisors, as its author. Business brokerage guidance is separate from legal, tax, appraisal, lending, child-care licensing, and educational advice. No page should be read as evidence that an agency or lender has approved a transaction.

How to read the evidence

  • Government rules, agency forms and program instructions are the starting point for regulatory questions. A general resource directory is a route to further research, not proof of a license-transfer conclusion.
  • Marketplace sales observations describe the reported sample and period. Asking prices are separated from completed reported sales. A mixed child-care category does not establish a local or model-specific multiple.
  • Worked examples and calculator inputs illustrate arithmetic. They are not a valuation opinion, current loan quote, verified operating result, or report of a completed client transaction.
  • Census and labor statistics describe their stated geography, population, occupation and period. They do not establish the enrollment, demand or replacement salary of a particular center.

What do the dates mean?

“Last updated” records an editorial revision. “Regulatory source review” records the research period shown in the article; it is not a promise that every rule remains unchanged today. A wording or navigation correction does not mean every cited authority received a new legal review. For a live deal, obtain the current controlling text and written direction for the actual provider, entity, address and transaction structure.

What should be verified before relying on a claim?

Open the cited source, check its effective date, and confirm that its provider class and geography match the question. Reconcile financial conclusions to source records. If a source does not answer the question, record the uncertainty and obtain the missing evidence. Do not treat a cautious question or publication hold as an affirmative statement that an approval will be granted.

What is deliberately excluded?

We do not supply invented child-care credentials, transaction records, testimonials, available listings, local offices, approval timelines, or model-specific valuation benchmarks. Information about children, families, employees and confidential sellers should not appear in public marketing. Detailed records belong in a controlled transaction process with appropriate professional advice.

Please do not send child, family, employee, medical, or confidential seller records. A correction request is not a guarantee of a response time or a substitute for professional advice.
